About the GO BLUE Center

The NSF IUCRC GO Blue Center advances marine energy technologies to strengthen U.S. energy security, reduce energy dependence, and enhance grid reliability.
By integrating research, industry partnerships, and workforce development, the Center accelerates innovation in ocean and water-based energy systems to support resilient domestic energy infrastructure and economic growth.
Through collaboration among universities, industry members, and federal partners, GO Blue focuses on practical engineering solutions that expand America’s energy portfolio and improve the reliability, affordability, and performance of marine energy technologies.
